We are overjoyed to welcome Meagan Cawlfield to our team at Family Guidance and Outreach! With her passion for human development, education, and parenting, Meagan is a perfect fit for our organization. We're confident that her energy and expertise will help us achieve our vision of a community without child abuse or neglect.
Meagan graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies. She is truly dedicated to understanding the intricacies of human relationships and how they shape us. Meagan has a particular interest in education and child development, and is a certified parenting instructor and car seat technician. This means she has hands-on experience helping families stay safe and healthy!
As our Educational Program Coordinator, Meagan will oversee our School Based Programs, both in-person and through our online database. We are especially excited to utilize Meagan's expertise and leadership as our agency works to overhaul and restructure our current DinoMight Tykes Curriculum, which is designed to help children understand emotions and how to regulate them.
In addition to her role as the Program Coordinator, Meagan will also be sharing her expertise on our Parenting Guidance Center, where she will teach once a month and will help parents navigate the joys and challenges of raising happy and healthy children.
For more than 40 years, Family Guidance and Outreach has provided education and advocacy for families and individuals of all ages. We believe that every family deserves the resources and support they need to thrive. That's why we're so excited to have Meagan on board!
